Here are a couple of things that have made me smile lately...
1. Dad home from hospital,(though still not well), and hearing that he is sitting at his computer--which is one of his favorite things to do!
2. Seeing my kids happy and excited to tell me something.
3. Date night with Tom!
4. Answers to prayers--feeling and seeing the Lord's hand in my life.
5. Seeing a miracle through watching little Gracie Gledhill improve daily.
6. Shelby so happy about her new haircut---which she has been begging for for weeks!
7. Sam so hyped up about KU!
8. Matt's grass seed guy and when he gets a "gotcha" from school.
(still trying to figure out this whole layout thing!) :)

such a cute haircut! Kenzie has sported something like that one way or another for the last few years -- though now she suddenly has an opinion and wants to grow her hair out...ack...when did I lose control.

Happy late anniversary! Mike and I celebrate 13 yrs on he 29th. It is wonderful being married to your best friend. Love the pic of you two, so young looking! Tell Tom I miss our love/hate realtionship tauntings. Shelby's hair is darling! Kelsey needs something done to hers, but her and Haley are trying to grow it our for locks of love!
Glad to hear your dad is doing a little better. I love Shelby's hair! I wish Anna would cut hers--and I want to cut mine, but I have this nasty, frizzy, natural curl over most of my head (the top layer, of course, is still straight) that prevents most cute do's these days. Did I tell you Nancy cuts hair next to my guy? She is hilarious!
Suz! Can these really be your kids? Has it been that long since we have seen you? They are all grown up...and Matt in kindergarten, what are you going to do in your free time? I am so sorry to hear about your dad, I know how hard it is to watch your parents get older. We would love to hear from you!

we've been doing this thing since the beginning of the year - 52 blessings - trying to identify something each week of the year that you are blessed with or thankful for....usually i blog it each friday. but i love the things to smile about list....great idea....sometimes it's good just to sit and think about what does make us smile....
